About the role
The Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic services in the Rehab Services unit, working primarily 10-hour days with a heavy weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care therapy services to patients on the 5th floor of the main hospital building.
- Work closely with a team of 60 therapy providers to administer patient care.
- Document patient information using the EPIC EMR system.
- Manage a patient load of 8-10 patients daily.
Requirements
- Must have acute care experience.
- OT Certification required for this assignment.
- Alaska state fingerprint and background clearance.
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, days (07:00–17:00).
- 4 days per week or 8-hour rotating schedule to include weekends.
Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
