Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,142 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified provider, is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet occupational therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification.
• Minimum one year of professional experience.
• Current state OT license or active application for licensure in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
