Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,068 per week

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a position in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in Massachusetts.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of recent, relevant work experience in a SNF setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using OT assessment tools and techniques.
• Experience with fall prevention and injury prevention strategies.
• Knowledge of community resources and their integration into patient care plans.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
