Travel Occupational Therapist - $1,913 per week
About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- At least one year of recent relevant work experience.
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passport required for international assignments.
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and interventions.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and cultures.
