Assignment Details

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Unit: Physical Therapy
• Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM (8-hour days)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: 2 shifts per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: To be discussed during the interview
• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

• 2+ years of inpatient rehabilitation and/or hospital experience
• Active OT License (temporary licenses not accepted)

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in rehabilitation and/or acute hospital settings
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• NDT or brain injury certifications

Responsibilities

• Performing assessments to determine patient needs
• Creating individualized treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to promote recovery
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Dress Code

• Scrub Colors: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only.
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails.
• Hair: Neat and clean; extreme styles or colors are not permitted.
• Body Art: Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; not feasible cases will be addressed individually.
• Piercings: Visible piercings outside of ears are prohibited.

Additional Information

• All travelers are required to float as needed, in accordance with facility policies.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
