Travel Observation RN - $2,380 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CDU - Clinical Decision Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026, in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic healthcare setting within the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU).
• Provide emergency care and manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure during stressful situations.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care according to established protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Emergency Department (ED) RN, though exceptional candidates may be considered.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an ED RN is preferred, but exceptional candidates with a strong passion may be considered.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
