About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN DOU - Direct Observation Unit for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct observation care to patients in acute care settings.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure during stressful situations.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Acute Care RN.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Acute Care RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
