Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Provides professional nursing care to a designated group of patients within a set timeframe. - Utilizes the nursing process, current nursing trends, and technology to deliver patient care. - Manages financial and human resources in accordance with institutional philosophy. - Performs all duties specific to the assigned unit and scope of service. - Implements nursing procedures and theoretical knowledge relevant to the area of practice. - Maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation to ensure effective communication among healthcare team members. - Completes initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient and family needs. - Executes nursing care plans, interventions, and patient care procedures. - Continuously evaluates and modifies care plans as needed. - Promotes patient and staff safety by reporting and addressing safety hazards and incidents. - Communicates effectively with team members to resolve issues and enhance collaboration. - Provides constructive feedback to peers and encourages professional development. - Identifies personal learning needs and seeks out opportunities for growth. - Meets all required departmental competencies. Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years recent experience as an RN L&D. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.Med Ninjas Job ID #18147.
