Travel Nursery RN - $3,306 per week

About the Role

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) position in Concord, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 08/31/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery (SCN) for neonates 32 weeks and above.
• Attend deliveries of vaginal births and cesarean sections.
• Administer surfactant via LMA to appropriate candidates.
• Manage neonates on C-PAP, tube feedings, and ESC for withdrawal substance abuse.
• Start neonate IVs and assist in deliveries.
• Float to postpartum or pediatrics if needed (though unlikely for this travel assignment).

The unit is an 18-bed LDRP with 6 SCN beds, typically staffed by 8-9 RNs per shift, 2 of whom are trained for the special care nursery. Average census is 2-5 neonates.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in NICU or SCN.
• Previous NICU or Level 2 SCN experience required.
• Postpartum experience preferred but not required.
• Comfort with assisting in deliveries, starting neonate IVs, and managing neonates on C-PAP.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• STABLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Cerner preferred but not required.
