Requirements
- Active RN License (license pending accepted)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Stepdown and/or Med-Surg experience
- Recent Epic experience required
- Comfortable caring for both Stepdown and Med-Surg patient populations
- Telemetry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and care for Stepdown and Med-Surg patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Maintain telemetry patients and recognize changes in condition
- Manage IV therapies and titratable drips as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Float to other Stepdown/Med-Surg units when needed
