Travel Nurse RN - Wound Care - $2,765 per week

About the role

Seeking an experienced Wound Care RN for a weekday position supporting patients with complex wounds, skin integrity concerns, ostomies, and related clinical needs. The nurse must be comfortable providing specialized wound assessment, treatment planning, education, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound assessment, treatment planning, education, and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Support patients with complex wounds, skin integrity concerns, ostomies, and related clinical needs
• Comfortable working with a variety of medical equipment and supplies
• Interact with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Active WOCN certification
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Flu vaccination documentation may be requested
• Occasional weekend availability required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 1 year of wound care experience
• Experience with wound care products and techniques

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of wound care principles and practices
• Proficiency with medical terminology and documentation
