About the role
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Rhinelander, WI. This outpatient procedural department requires a dedicated RN with wound and ostomy experience to provide specialized wound care services. The position involves developing and executing plan of care, performing inpatient and emergency department consultations, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. Outpatient procedural department, with active patient care developing plans of care and performing consultations. Daily caseload averages 8-9 visits per RN with CNA assistance.
Responsibilities

- Topical wound care
- Compression wraps
- Wound VACs
- Total contact casting
- Conservative sharp wound debridement
- Ostomy pouching system changes
- Peristomal skin breakdown treatment
Requirements
- Valid WI or compact RN license
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Wound and ostomy certification or extensive work in wound/ostomy clinic preferred
- Associate Degree or Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in wound care or certified wound/ostomy specialist
Schedule
Day shift, 9 hours per day, four days a week, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Guaranteed minimum hours per week: 40.
