Travel Nurse RN - Wound Care - $2,373 per week

About the role

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) will work under the direction of a provider, utilizing approved protocols to assess and care for patients with wounds. Responsibilities include measuring wounds, applying dressings and treatments, and documenting all care activities in the proprietary EMR system. This position requires 2 years of inpatient nursing experience and preferably 2 years specific to wound care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for a variety of wounds using approved protocols.
• Measure wounds, apply dressings, and perform advanced treatments as directed by the provider.
• Document all patient care activities in the EMR.
• Maintain a patient volume of approximately 1-2 patients per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required.
• PREFERRED: 2 years of experience in wound care nursing.

Qualifications

This position requires a current, active, unrestricted RN license in the state of New Jersey. Other qualifications include:

• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with wound care protocols and procedures.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The shift is from 19:00:00 to 07:00:00.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
