Travel Nurse RN - Transplant Surgery - $1,805 per week

Job Summary

The operating room transplant specialty registered nurse (RN) position is located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves working within the Transplant Services unit, primarily performing desk-based tasks with proficiency in MediTech and Microsoft applications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Prior transplant experience is not mandatory, but flexibility and a caring, compassionate demeanor are necessary to support complex psychosocial patient needs.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS):
• Proficiency with MediTech and Microsoft:
• Willingness to assist with desk work, patient assessments, and possible clinic days:
• Valid nursing license:
• No specific transplant experience required but preferred candidates with two or more years of transplant experience and experience with United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) are strongly considered.

Additional Information

• This position involves mainly desk work with computer proficiency, potential clinic days for rooming and assessing patients, and participation in WebEx meetings on an as-needed basis.
• Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in patient assignments across pre, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant stages, maintaining a caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Float rotation may be required.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
