Key Responsibilities
- Maintain specialized telemetry nursing care on a 38-bed unit with diverse patient populations.
- Monitor ECG rhythms 24/7 with CCTs and assist with patient transport, admissions, discharges, IV insertions, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with ancillary staff including Rapid Response Teams, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, and Respiratory Therapists.
- Flooding to ICU or medical-surgical units as needed, ensuring quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
- Active NV RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
- Passing a telemetry competency exam is required; failure results in contract termination.
- Must provide SSN, DOB, and two professional references.
