Job Summary
This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a telemetry unit within an acute care facility. The position requires a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts, supporting a busy unit with a diverse patient population.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts (0700-1900 & 1900-0700)
- Minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or acute care nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of TURPS-CBI, critical access, or Trauma Level 3 or 4 experience
Additional Information
- Absolute must be able to float to like units and patients
- Orientation includes computer education on day 1 (8 hours), shadowing, and on-day 2, a 12-hour shift of orientation, followed by independent work on day 3
- Clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility
- The unit operates with a team nursing model, patient ratios of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at 11 pm
- On-site hospitalist or intensivist coverage until 6 pm, then telemed support
- Telemetry monitors are used daily in ICU with basic arrhythmia knowledge required
- Weekend and holiday rotations are included, with the potential to be placed on call or standby

Pay Package
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
