About the role

Telemetry RN position in the Neuro Trauma unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Shift is 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on the 10th floor Neuro Trauma / Telemetry unit (36 beds). EMR: Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Care for neuro and trauma telemetry patients
• Perform bubble studies and EEGs
• Provide continuous telemetry monitoring and acute-care nursing
• Manage a typical 1:6 telemetry assignment
• Use Kangaroo pumps and Meditech charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute-care hospital Telemetry experience
• Neuro/trauma experience strongly beneficial
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)

Skills

• Strong assessment and telemetry skills in an acute-care setting
• Positive, engaged, and flexible with unit needs

Schedule

Night shift staffing: 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs.
