About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position is in the Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Trauma) unit, working nights (7P‑7A) with a 48‑hour week (12‑hour shifts). Every other weekend is required and the role is available to start ASAP. The facility has 396 beds, the unit has 24 beds, and the department sees a monthly volume of approximately 24 patients, with a typical patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6. Scrubs color is navy.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana
- ACLS and BLS certification
- 1‑2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience
- Floating to any other med‑surg or telemetry units as required
- No call requirement
Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5‑1:6
Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 7P‑7A (12‑hour shifts)
- Hours per week: 48 (typically four 12‑hour shifts)
- Block scheduling accepted provided it accommodates every other weekend requirement
- Every other weekend required
