A telemetry registered nurse (RN) position is available in Wichita, Kansas. This is a travel assignment in an intermediate care unit, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. Job Details

• Location: Wichita, Kansas

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience

• Valid nursing license

• Location requirements include Kansas

• No minimum years of experience required beyond the stated 1 year for qualification purposes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

• Float rotation may be required

Additional Information

• The unit has patient ratios of approximately 1:6, with 1:4 for Heart Catheterization patients.

• Equipment used includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies.
