About the role
As a valued member of the Telemetry (Tele) RN team, you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. This unit constantly monitors blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and cardiac electrical activity of patients on the unit, utilizing specialized equipment. RNs will mainly care for patients recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Telemetry unit, focusing on those recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and cardiac electrical activity using specialized telemetry equipment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Telemetry experience (1 year required).
- Active RN license (Compact accepted).
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
Pay
Pay rate: $2,321.00 - $2,464.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
