Job Summary
The Neuro Acute Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a specialized neuro unit responsible for patients with neurological conditions. The position involves 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a schedule that includes holiday rotation, providing comprehensive neuro care in a fast-paced environment.

- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Shift Notes: 12-hour night shifts; 4 total weekend shifts per 4-week period; holiday shifts based on unit coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid license
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cerner Electronic Medical Record system experience
- Willing to wait for license submission
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Formal certification in Med Surg/Telemetry preferred
Additional Information
- Work into holiday rotation
- Strong assessment skills for neurological patient care, including detection of small changes
- Educational experience in lifts, restraints, and wound care
- Must pass clinical dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Certification and Experience
- BLS, ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
