Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,200 per week

About the role

Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This assignment involves providing specialized care within a hospital setting, with responsibilities spanning multiple units including Med/Surg Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Mental Health units. The role demands adaptability to float across various hospital departments, ensuring optimal patient monitoring and care.

Responsibilities

• Willing to float to all units in the hospital, including Med/Surg Tele units, Emergency Department, and mental health units.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required.
• Caring for diverse patient populations, including ED border patients, mental health medication patients, and transfer-ready ICU patients.
• Unit census varies from 8 to 41 beds, with patient ratios up to 6:1 during nights and up to 5:1 during days and evenings.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current license must be verified prior to employment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location.
• 2 years of travel nursing experience.
• Prior experience with telemetry monitoring, reading tele strips, cardiac drips, and TR Band preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required.
