Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,160 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cudahy, Wisconsin, starting on 08/24/2026. The role is for a 12-week duration with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Job Details
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- 50% of holidays required per contract
- Schedule made in 6-week increments, released 3 weeks prior
- Low census on-call possible for up to 36 hours per contract
- Patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:6-7 (up to 1:8 uncommon)
- Primarily geriatric patient population with diagnoses including CHF, chest pain observation, seizure/stroke observation, TIA rule out, altered mental status, COPD, and respiratory/kidney/liver/GI issues
- EMR system: EPIC; IV Pump: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis
- May float to other Med Surg units or areas within the hospital
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Tele experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Required skills: NG tube placement, foley placement, chest tube management, wound care, central line/ports/midline blood draws, cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Drip management within set parameters: Cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, Lasix, insulin
- Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS; ACLS preferred
- Scrub color: Any solid color, professional (no graphics, logos, denim, or designs)
Facility Details
This Level IV Trauma Center has 100 beds total, including a 28-bed telemetry unit averaging 20-22 patients per day. The unit is supported by:
- Charge RN with reduced patient assignment
- Health unit coordinator until 11:00 PM
- Phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws
- Respiratory therapy available 24/7
- Hospitalist coverage 24/7
- OT/PT/ST services during the day
- Centralized telemetry monitoring with tele techs
