Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,115 per week

Job Summary

This acute care position involves providing specialized nursing care on a high-risk cardiology unit. The role encompasses managing cardiac drips, sheath pulls, central line care, and postoperative cardiac surgery patients, with a focus on adult patient populations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the appropriate state
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry nursing
• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, central line management, and postoperative cardiac care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac catheterization
• TAVR patients
• Post-CABG patients

Responsibilities

• Managing patients with cardiac conditions including high-risk cardiology cases
• Administering cardiac drips without titration
• Performing sheath pulls
• Central line care
• Interpreting dysrhythmias
• Responding to patient needs within adult cardiac units

Additional Information

• Must be flexible to float within scope to support various patient units if needed
• No local candidates within 75 miles

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
