About the role

Telemetry nursing professionals are sought for a location within the healthcare provider organization. This role involves providing specialized nurse care in an acute care setting, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The position offers an opportunity to work night shifts, ensuring coverage during critical hours, and requires adaptability to float across multiple units within the designated zone.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nurse care in an acute care telemetry setting
• Float rotation may be required within zone 2 locations, covering a 60-mile radius, including ICU, progressive care units, stepdown units, and medical-surgical units
• Work across different acuity levels, potentially including CNA/Sitter capacity
• Paid travel time for float assignments
• Use EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in telemetry or similar cardiac monitoring units

Additional Information

• Availability required throughout the week of orientation, which must be completed in the state
• Facility allows cancellation of up to four shifts over the 16-week assignment
