Responsibilities
- Hold shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Two to 5 years of experience is required.
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (through the American Heart Association) and attach them to the submission.
- Must have vent/trach experience.
- Must have 2 years recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
- Must have Indiana or multi-state compact RN license and attach it to the resume.
