Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Portland. This role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in a specialized telemetry unit. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety, recovery, and well-being.
Schedule
Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Collects relevant patient health data
- Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
- Develops and implements care plans
- Evaluates patient outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Provides health education
- Participates in discharge planning
- Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members
- Performs other related duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
- AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required
