TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Shiloh, Illinois. The organization is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians nationwide, focusing on putting highly‑skilled staff into facilities to ensure adequate staffing and a better patient experience. The position is for a Telemetry RN with an immediate start date of November 2, 2026, for a 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
- Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
- Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
- Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years as noted)
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
