Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,030 per week

About the role

Telemetry (TELE) Nurse located in Spokane, Washington, working a night shift in a neurology‑focused telemetry unit. The position supports a designated stroke unit within a Level II trauma center, providing specialized care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Schedule

Night shift, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Start date 10/19/2026, end date 01/18/2027 (13‑week assignment).

Requirements

• Valid state RN license (compact license preferred)
• At least 1 year of neuro or telemetry experience
• Proficiency with the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Pre‑ and post‑neurosurgery patient care
• Ability to float between units and work holiday rotations as needed
• References covering 1 year of recent clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience caring for neurology and neuroscience patients
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
• Knowledge of stroke protocols and JCAHO designations
• Clinical experience in neuro step‑down units and Level II trauma settings
• Experience with procedural sedation and spinal cord injury management
