This role involves managing telemetry monitoring, titrating medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem, and collaborating within a fast-paced acute care setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Certifications and Skills: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale). Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience. Position Description: The nursing role involves caring for patients with cardiac, neurological/stroke, and seizure diagnoses, utilizing respiratory therapy equipment like High Flow and BiPAP devices (for troubleshooting only), and reading cardiac strips using GE telemetry monitors. Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Orientation consists of 3 shifts. Unit-specific dress code requires navy blue scrubs. Float: Float rotation may be required. Applicants should be prepared for weekend and holiday rotations.
