Travel Oncology-focused MedTele RN job in Tuscaloosa, AL at a 583-bed Level III Trauma Center. The position is on a 16-bed unit dedicated to patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses. The hospital offers advanced cancer care and a range of specialty services in a collaborative environment.

Schedule

• 13 weeks duration
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts

Pay

Pay Rate: $1,903.00 - $2,001.00

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a telemetry unit focused on oncology patients
• Utilize Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Active Alabama or compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent oncology or medical telemetry experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ACLS-AHA certification (copy needed)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (copy needed)
• SSN and date of birth required
• 1 reference in the last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR systems
• Strong oncology nursing skills
