About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves delivering specialized cardiac care in a dynamic community hospital with a collaborative culture, offering advanced heart and vascular services, stroke care, and a Level II Trauma Center.
You will monitor patients with cardiac conditions, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes in patient status in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment.
- Interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient status.
- Provide specialized cardiac care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation.
- Manage multiple patients while maintaining strong clinical assessment skills.
Requirements
- Active Missouri or compact RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least two years of recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage multiple patients.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to maintain a safe environment.
- One professional reference covering your entire work history.
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
Pay
Pay rate: $1,868.00 - $1,963.00 per week. The bill rate for local candidates will be $10 below the posted travel rate.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- 36 hours per week.
- 12-hour night shifts.
