Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,815 per week
Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position involves providing specialized care to telemetry patients, including post-cardiac procedures and managing cardiac drips. The role requires proficiency in telemetry strip reading, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with healthcare team members. The scheduled shifts are nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
Schedule

Required Qualifications
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- 30 months RN or LPN nursing experience
- Ability to care for 6 telemetry patients post-cardiac procedures such as PCI, PPM, ICD, or Ablations
- Proficient in reading telemetry strips
- Successful completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience in telemetry or cardiac units
- Experience with phlebotomy and respiratory treatments (inhalers and nebulizers)
- Knowledge of management of cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine
Additional Information
- Ability to work with mobile equipment including i-Mobile phones, mobile computer workstations on wheels, and Lab drawers
- Ability to float to emergency department or PCU as needed
- Adherence to unit-specific policies and guidelines
- Dress code is navy uniform
