Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,805 per week

About the role

Telemetry (TELE) RN Night shift located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to cardiac and general medical patients, including post-cardiac surgery and thoracotomy cases, as well as patients requiring telemonitoring. The RN will be responsible for managing titratable drips, reading centralized telemetry strips, and collaborating with respiratory therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and general medical patients, including post‑cardiac surgery and thoracotomy cases.
• Manage titratable drips (excluding pressors, paralytics, and TPA).
• Read centralized telemetry strips.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and troubleshoot CPAP, BiPAP, and high‑flow respiratory equipment.
• Participate in self‑scheduling with possible floating to other floors.
• Adhere to the facility dress code (galaxy blue scrubs).
• Complete orientation (1‑2 shifts) and follow hospital policy regarding unit cancellations.
• Maintain patient ratio of approximately 1:4‑6 depending on acuity.
• Monitor patients with cardiac care, post‑surgical monitoring, thoracotomies, cardiac gtts, atrial fibrillation, and general medical telemetry needs.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky (or applicable state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Specialty experience in Telemetry preferred.

Schedule

• Night shift, 12‑hour shifts.
• Minimum 36 hours per week.
• Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
