Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,757 per week

About the role

Telemetry RNs connect patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels and electrocardiogram data; the data is sent to computer screens for monitoring. Telemetry RNs read and interpret this data to help determine patient care. Location: Anderson, South Carolina. Immediate opening.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Interpret and record electronic displays from monitoring equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• 1–2 years’ recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years referenced).
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients
