Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,704 per week

About the role

As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, you will connect patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels and electrocardiogram data. The equipment sends data to computer screens for you to monitor and interpret, helping determine patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience.
• Current RN license (implied).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Shift: 12‑hour nights.
• Hours per week: 36.
