Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,639 per week

About the role

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in a telemetry unit in Charleston, West Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on July 23, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of patient comfort and safety needs
• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments
• Initiates patient education plans
• Notifies supervisor or physician of patient cardiac status and response
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Qualifications

Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification and NIHSS certification may be preferred.
