Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,638 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a hospital contract in Wichita, Kansas. The position will start on August 24, 2026, last for 13 weeks, and work 36 hours per week with a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Telemetry unit at Wesley Medical Center during 7A to 7P shifts.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac and post-procedure care.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as central lines and medication drips.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) to document patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in telemetry preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
