Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,587 per week

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring cardiac telemetry in a Stepdown/PCU setting
• Manage experience with TAVR, Watchman’s, mitral clips, heart catheterizations
• Care for pre-op/post-op open-heart patients (when transferred out of CVICU)
• Administer cardiac IV and PO medications, including cardiac drips at a flat rate (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin)
• Manage anticoagulant therapy, CHF, CP, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE
• Care for post-op CABG patients greater than 3 days post-surgery
• Treat sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, and observation patients
• Use TR band and manage groin sites, including familiarity with complications

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience
• Experience in a cardiac telemetry department
