Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,362 per week

About the role

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Princeton, West Virginia. The position requires 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift, night shifts only.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in managing patients recovering from surgery or acute illness
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide education to patients and families about their health conditions and treatment plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia
• Current BLS certification
• At least one year of step-down unit experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
