About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Provide stepdown care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries.
- Assess and document patient progress and needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers must have greater than 1 year of experience and strong Epic experience.
- Active South Dakota (SD) or Compact State RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Experience in Epic EHR system is strictly required.
Qualifications
- Candidates must live more than 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.
