About the role
A Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse is needed in Oklahoma City. This inpatient rehabilitation position involves caring for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The role requires working in a specialized facility designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in a secure, low-stimulation environment with advanced therapy equipment and facilities including therapy gymnasiums and specialized beds
- Engage patients in therapy activities aimed at restoring functionality and independence
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a rehabilitation or medical-surgical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Current certifications in stroke or orthopedic care
- Familiarity with neuro-rehabilitation procedures

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
