Travel Nurse RN - Rehabilitation - $1,344 per week
Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, Texas starting July 27, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, night shifts, and a valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS certification preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred

Essential Work Functions
- Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
- Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
- Cook up and coordinate holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
- Avoid safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- The ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- The ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- The ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- The ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- The ability to maintain continuous concentration to detail
- The ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
