Travel Nurse RN - Radiology - $3,584 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role is in the Radiology specialty (RN discipline) with a start date of 11/09/2026, a duration of 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts, and employment type is travel. The unit is IR RN with 5 rooms. The facility accepts travelers with one year of experience and first‑time travelers.

Responsibilities

• See approximately 40‑50 adult patients per day (no pediatrics).
• Administer sedation when anesthesia is not involved.
• Monitor patients and chart pertinent data.
• Assist with general IR procedures (e.g., kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central lines/PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoracentesis/paracentesis).
• Support CT‑room IR cases (cryos, CT biopsies, drains) and AAA interventions when experienced.
• Participate in Neuro IR responsibilities (stroke, embolization, DSA, WADA test, spinal angiograms) when qualified.
• Work within a 24/7 staffed department alongside techs, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and CNA/transporter staff.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred experience with EPIC EMR.
• Preferred experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment.
• Preferred experience with MedRad injector.
• Preferred experience with Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Change Healthcare PACS.
• Experience with IVUS, GE ultrasound, laser, Bovie (for some port removals), and Angiojet is a plus but not required.
• Neuro IR experience is required for RN responsibilities in this role.
• Ability to care for adult patients only.
