About the role
TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for general IR patients including kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central line/PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filter, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoras/paras
- Support CT Room procedures including cryos, CT biopsies, drains
- Provide neuro IR care including strokes, embolization, DSA, WADA test, spinal angios (required for RN; send for manager approval if RT does not have Neuro experience)
- Administer sedation unless anesthesia is involved
- Monitor and chart patient status
Requirements
- 1 year of IR experience required
- Will accept first-time traveler as long as they have IR experience for RN and RT(R)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience
- Experience with adult patients only (no pediatrics)
- Neuro IR experience required for RN
- AAA intervention experience preferred
Schedule
- 13-week duration
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour day shifts
- Start date: 09/27/2026
