About the role

Travel nurse RN Radiology position in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with call responsibilities (1–2 call nights per week; flexibility to pick up extra call as needed). No floating required.

Unit Information

• Location: Portsmouth Regional Hospital, 333 Borthwick Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801 (1st floor)
• 2 IR Suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane), 1 holding area, 1 CT procedure room
• Staff: 5 nurses, 5 Techs
• Equipment: Philips Bi-Plane, Philips Single Plane, GE Monitoring
• EMR: Expanse

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with typical interventional radiology procedures:
  • Angiograms, Trevo, Cerebral Coiling, Biopsies, Neuro intervention/angiograms
  • Carotid stenting, embolectomy, thrombectomy (PE)
  • Kyphoplasty, ESI, hip injection, paracentesis, thoracentesis
  • Renal Microwave ablations
• Administer moderate sedation
• Work independently and collaboratively within the team

Requirements

• Active RN license (required at submission)
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Experience in Procedural Departments, Critical Care, Emergency Department, ICU, or equivalent
• Experience with moderate sedation
• Lives within a 30-minute radius of the hospital

Qualifications

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered.

• Procedural, Critical Care, ED, or ICU experience
• Moderate sedation experience

Preferred: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
