Travel Nurse RN - Radiology - $3,101 per week

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 1–2 call nights per week
• Weekends per department demands
• Flexibility to pick up extra call as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology (IR) suites and CT procedure room
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures
• Assist with typical IR procedures:
  • Angiograms, Trevo, cerebral coiling, biopsies, neuro interventions/angiograms
  • Carotid stenting, embolectomy, thrombectomy (PE)
  • Kyphoplasty, epidural steroid injections (ESI), hip injections
  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis, renal microwave ablations
• Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Active RN license (required at submission)
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum experience in one of the following areas:
  • Procedural departments (e.g., IR, Cardiac Cath Lab)
  • Critical Care, Emergency Department, or ICU
• Experience with moderate sedation (required)
• Must live within a 30-minute radius of Portsmouth Regional Hospital

Qualifications

Preferred: Prior Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience

• Location: Portsmouth Regional Hospital, 333 Borthwick Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801 (1st floor)
• Facilities: 2 IR suites (Philips Bi-Plane & Single Plane), 1 holding area, 1 CT procedure room (GE monitoring)
• Staffing: 5 nurses, 5 technologists
• EMR: Expanse
• No floating to other units
