Travel Nurse RN - Radiology - $2,531 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. Specialty: Radiology; Discipline: RN. We're looking for Radiology RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Columbus, OH. The right RN should have 1‑2 years recent acute care experience. As a Radiology RN, you should have experience and skill in caring for patients in a diagnostic environment. Radiology Travel Nurses will work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate and implement diagnostic care using correct procedures and physician instructions.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs
• Access and assess infusaports
• Administer medications
• Monitor vital signs
• Suction patients
• Insert foleys
• Help patients with personal needs
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters

Requirements

• BLS certification
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Able to bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds; patient lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a diagnostic radiology environment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
