MediPro is seeking a travel nurse RN Psych ED for a travel nursing job in Sylmar, California.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Psych EDDiscipline: RNDuration: 8 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hoursEmployment Type: Travel- RNs with minimum of one (1) year of recent Behavioral Health ER experience in a community-based acute care hospital. - Required Certifications: CA RN license, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City) RNs will be providing urgent and emergent care for patients experiencing acute mental health crises, including suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, acute psychosis, severe mood disorders, substance-included psychiatric conditions, and behavioral health emergencies requiring stabilization and evaluation. RNs will be performing comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, crisis intervention, behavioral de-escalation, medication administration, continuous patient safety monitoring, and coordination of psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and inpatient psychiatric placements.MediPro Job ID #52268-3.
