About the role
We are seeking a Postpartum Registered Nurse for a travel assignment focused on family-centered care for mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and neonatal health
- Administer medications
- Support breastfeeding
- Educate families
- Perform newborn assessments
- Respond to emergencies
Requirements
- One year recent postpartum RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS and NRP certifications
- PREFERRED: ACLS and additional certifications
Qualifications
- Critical thinking and excellent communication
- Physical ability to assist with procedures and lift equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
- Strong interpersonal, technical, and sensory skills
